Luna Park Fun

Amusement parks are actually one of my passion. I always get so excited when dressing up to go to a one. I like to wear short dresses with long socks and Mary Janes pumps. It's pretty much my 'fun park uniform'. This 'uniform' puts me in that sort of playful mood. It's also easier to believe in magic and fairy tale when you wear like this.
I don't know, perhaps it's just me. But here, I'm wearing my mini-babydoll velvet dress that I bought from American Apparel with my long knee high white socks, Mary Janes pumps from Zomp Shoes, and white lace bow hairband from Kiddyland, Tokyo. Oh and this sheer top I purchased from Fringe bar's Sunday market.

My favourite ride is always the roller coaster. The more roller coasters there are the better the amusement park is.
However, I think every amusement park has its own character and feel, therefore everyone of them is a different wonderland. Luna Park too has its own very unique character. It's has quite vintage and European look. I specially like the main character the clown of Luna park.  I find Luna Park's entrance to be very magical, mysterious and beautiful.

My list of favourite things to do in an amusement park would be:

-Holding hands with my date
-Eating Fairy Floss-
-Shopping for balloons, hairbands, bubble makers and other cool things
-Having a hotdog and coffee break!
-Looking at the photos taken during a roller coaster ride!

Dolly look..

I love my American Apparel's baby doll, black velvet dress. It's so comfy, dolly, dressy yet simple.
I can wear to everywhere like coffee date to ice skating date or from cinema to a gelato shop. Or to an amusement park date. By everywhere, I mean everywhere!
After all it's type of a  'little black dress' that goes with skating shoes, Dr.Martens, or Mary Janes to a fancy pair of Oxford!
Here I'm wearing it with my fancy pair of Oxford from Zomp Shoes. Ofcourse, the tights are from Alannah Hill and the hairband is from 'Kiddyland', Tokyo!
This is my dolly, and innocent weekend/daytime-date look.

Fluffy,  fuzzy, cuddly and pink :* :) :P

I did this shoot with talented and unique photographer Sonny Tayza who is also the sweetest person you'd ever meet. Sonny san has lived in Tokyo for some years, the city that inspires me so much.
I felt there was some magical bond that comes from our mutual love for Japanese culture.

So I could totally be looking like this and feel so fuzzy! I felt that I was in my world.. My pink, my warm, soft, pink fairy floss world..
Here, I'm wearing this lovely and fluffy pink jumper that I bought from this cute little Korean store called  'Lily J'. It's located next to the 'Drama', (another cute Korean store), in the heart of China Town. It's so warm makes you feel fuzzy and cuddly. I'm wearing it with my dream pink beret from Avant Garde from Harajuku.
My dress is from 'Wall', a Japanese label. The illustration is made by a popular Japanese
illustrator Yurie Sekuya.

My tights from, do I even have to mention this? ALANNAH HILL!!!
And my boots from as usual 'ZOMP SHOES'!! They are super comfy platforms that look like from I stole from a Harajuku girl.
My make up is very simple:
Both Max factor False Lash Effect and Maybeline Volume Express  Mascaras
'Cute Eyes maker' pink shiny eyeliner from Etude House (I bought from this really cute Korean & Japanese beauty store in World Square Sydney. I think it was called 'Blush Cosmetics'.
Pink blush that I bought from Laforet, Harajuku.
Pink lip gloss from Revlon
Black Maybeline liquid eyeliner ^.^ :* <3.
