Summer plans and wish list

There are so much in my head right now. Simply because it's summer. And it's Christmas.

Here is my wish list:
1. Tan! Sun kissed skin. Beautiful golden brown glow!
How will I achieve it? Luckily I live in Sydney, the city of beaches and sun. I am starting to go to Bondi, Maroubra, Bronte and many other beautiful beaches and just read my Bazaar, Vogue or Elle, listen to Lana Del Rey and fall asleep, relax..maybe walk around, try to learn to swim with my best friend, and have an ice cream or fresh apple cider, or juice in the mean time... Ofcourse SPF is a must!
Here is a good article on sunscreen solutions :

Personally, I'm going with the L'OREAL, Sublime Sun, spray oil and Banana Boat SPF 30, lotion.
Although I have couple of others like, Sun Sense, Nivea etc...It's good to have a couple of them. You feel protected.

2. I want piercings so bad. Some hot, sparkly, cool piercing on my ears!

3. Thirdly I really want to get fitter for summer! I'm planning to achieve the desired look by following the tips below:
Running from a beach to beach! It will be a pretty run. Specially with some beautiful music for my ears..
And dancing! I'm going Sydney Dance Company, on the Rocks and train ballet and maybe lyrical or jazz. I can also stretch class on Mondays. Ballet was always my thing.  And I'm so excited to train ballet again. It was my passion for couple of years, long time ago. it is the best way to get some summer legs!
Also it gives you dreamy, romantic mood and graceful move..

4. There is a new exciting place to go in Sydney which is the Wet & WIld Water Park! I am so so excited and can't wait! And actually I am going there tomorrow!

5. Some little voice is screaming in my head: 'Lomography camera!'.They just look so cute and they are so creative! It would so much fun specially for summer! They come in all colors too!

6. More funky sunnies please! In heart, star and round shapes. Also the cat like ones from Karren Walker!

7. And I'm thinking.. 'What about a white bowler hat?', *.*  Wouldn't it be cute?
Specially with my new white sandals
from Zomp!

8. Subscribe to ELLE, AUSTRALIA! Have I ever dared to think that I'd love  another fashion mag other than Vogue and Bazaar! Well it happened! Love happens!

9. A NEW, REFRESHING SUMMER WARDROBE that consists of my top summer key items!

I've been struggling to choose the right name for my blog for long long time.
I came up with infinite number of names.
I wrote down all things/objects I love and get inspired by..
I love fairytales, so there were many ideas inspired by fairy tales, like 'Little Red's Look Book' or 'Alice in Fashion Tale'.

Or related with 'magical objects' and sweets: ' Lolipops & Lolita Glasses', 'Fairy Floss Girl', 'Strawberry Milkshake' , 'Caramel and Velvet', 'Pink Tutu' , 'Bowler Hats & Bow Ties'. I even tried giving myself a cheeky name, ' Princess in Pumps & Socks', 'Top Hat Girl' (lol), the list goes on and on.

Then I got obsessed with 'kitten' / 'couture' inspired names, 'Couture Cat', 'High tea & Haute Couture', 'Top Hat Kitten', 'Karl's Kouture Kitten'...
The one I finally decided on is though, 'Kitten Kouture'.
I have been obsessed with fashion and style for whole my life.
My childhood memories are strongly linked to what I wore back then. I can't recall a moment in my life without remembering what I wore in that moment.
I grew up in the 1990's, still strongly Soviet cultured city, Ulaanbaatar, so my sense of fashion was always criticised and disaproved by teachers at school,  or strangers on the street.
I rebelled against it whole my life. I still don't care about what others may say or think about my style, cause I think I know when I'm right and when I'm not about an outfit..
But anyway, in short, I dress up for myself. And I found it extremely joyous and absolutely pleasurable.
In the cold winters, poor economy and jugdemental and frustrated society, my student mom, took me to ballets, such as, 'Swan lake, 'Nutcracker' and used to read me a classic fairy tales, since I was, apparently, 8 months old. My mom used to intern in a daily newspaper, while studying and got paid a little money, which she began investing in expanding my very own library.
My dad, was travelling and trading all kinds of things, cross Europe, Russia, and Mongolia.
He brought me cool clothes and toys.
I was the first in my family and kindergarden to wear a velvet, enboidered dress with a matching jacket, pink converse, or denim skirts with strap and italian leather pumps.
I guess, I lived in a magical little fantasy world made with parents love and specially mom's imagination within the harsh reality.
Ever since I remember I loved fashion, art and literature.
I had these thick books of russian traditional fairy tales. They had beautiful illustrations. I think those characters in the book, were my first fashion inspirations. The princesses had long braided hair, little heeled pretty shoes, usually blue and white sleeveless maxi dresses over traditional white russian tops with red and yellow embroidery.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were my first fashion idols too. Their movie, 'It takes two' was my favourite.

Natalie Portman's character Mathilda, in Leon was my another style inspiration. She was all that super-cool girl, I wanted to be. I had the same hair style, few times, when I was a little girl.

Lolita is my another style idol. I adore her heart shaped sunglasses, red lipstick, white socks, braided her, cropped top and high waisted short shorts etc..

I own three pairs of heart shaped glasses in red, pink and white.
I have been searching for couple of pairs of good quality, super cute star shaped glasses for a while now..
I'm super excited for the beautiful summer in Sydney : beaches, tan, picnics, cruises, cycling, dresses, sandals and milkshakes..

However, this is only beginning, there will be more style ideas, fashion sketches, pictures to share with you all.

I'm a newborn kitten to this fashion blogging world, so please, fellow blogger kittens, feel free to tell me anything/ give me advise via commenting.

Meow,

Rosy Kitten
