White vintage silk dress from Top shop, silver top ankle boots from Senso, bought in Zomp Shoes, black suspender tights from Alannah Hill. Romantic but edgy look.

Off to a date. Roof top car ride to the 'China doll' restaurant in Wooloomooloo bay.. To have some dim sim, and cocktails.

In the mood for love..Feeling like in a Wong Kar Wai movie.

Wearing Wheels and Dollbaby's Jardin noir lace fifi dress with Alannah Hill suspender tights, and Ink's leather ankle boots, with soft pink beret with veil from Avant Garde, Tokyo.
I tried this dress in Dollbaby's Crown street shop and just fell in love. I had to get it.
It's a black rose embroidered lace dress with tiny little soft pink bow in the middle. It's beautifully curve hugging and very small fit.
I wore with my usual ankle boots to give it more 'effortless' look.
The soft pink beret matches the little pink bow on the chest.
The dress is falls below my knee but when I sit down I can slightly lift to show bit of my suspender tights.

'Vintage & Raw' : Never look too proper!

This dress I call, 'Orange Blossom' is probably one of the cheapest dresses I have. I bought it in a small vintage store in Harajuku, Tokyo. It was probably about 10 dollars. A true smart buy! Sometimes price doesn't mean anything, specially when buying vintage!
It's now my basic vintage dress. It's so comfy, yet girly and pretty. I can wear it to anywhere. I can make it look effortless so easily.
So, I wear it with my Alannah Hill white lace tights and as you know my leather ankle boots. I think the white floral lace pattern goes well white lace tights.

If it's sunny I'd put my heart shaped black sunnies on.
I like vintage but I don't like to wear all the way vintage. I love mixing vintage with current trends or something of another era. Also, I like having my hair down like a wild rock'n roll girl with my proper ladylike vintage dress. Because you know, in the 50's they would have their up, in a perfect bun with this kind of dresses. And they'd have matching bags and shoes, everything 'perfect' and matched. Too perfect is boring.

Too ladylike is boring for me. So I named this shoot 'Vintage & Raw'.
If you like vintage pieces like I do, I'd advise you to mix it with different styles and raw it up well.
Also, pay attention to the details of your vintage piece, so you don't over do it.
For example this dress has pearls on the neck, I don't need any earrings or necklace, perhaps I'd only wear a little pearl ring.

Tutu skirt, crop jumper, knee high socks

Tokyo fashion in Surry Hills & Strawberry Milkshake

Yeah, I'm totally cool to wear this to any occasion! 

I'm wearing my beloved electric blue tutu skirt, crop jumper both from  'Galaxy' store located in Shibuya and shiny blue sheer knee highs from Avant Garde, Harajuku. 

And I'm just casually hanging out on Crown street, Surry Hills, Sydney with my French photographer friend  Jonathan.  

I wore red lipstick, lots of mascara and I had extra large strawberry milkshake. 

Also I'm wearing my best mate leather ankle boots that I bought from Zomp! 

Life is full of magic!

                                               Hanamizz Twins & Me

I love my 'Hanamizz Twins' dress. I saw this dress first at the Wall boutique in Laforet shopping mall, but as it was my second day in Tokyo, I wanted to see and check more stores first.
So, I put the dress in mind somewhere. After few days, I came back for the dress but they didn't have the purple one anymore. They told us to go to their store in Parco.
I tried the dress in both color, white and purple. Purple was no doubt. It's got a beautiful illustration of the characters Hanamizz twins, designed by Yurie Sekiya. The dress is made of gorgeous silk.
It's super comfortable and soft on skin.

I also had the opportunity to meet the buyer and conceptor of the boutique,  mr. Yusuke Ishakawa.

'The Wall' is definitely must visit store, if you are in Tokyo. I'd define 'The Wall' as being the true spirit of Tokyo fashion.  By 'spirit of Tokyo', I mean the each piece you can find there is unique. It's very Tokyo, very Japan. You can't find similiar clothes anywhere else in the world. It's stylishly and very fashionably kawaii. I wore this with my usual bowler hat, leather ankle boots, and pink lace socks in the photos below. I also wore the dress for a romantic dinner date by the Darling harbour this week and I threw my Wheels and Doll baby classic motorcycle leather jacket over it.

Lolita Forever

Kitten printed dresses, heart shaped, 'Lolita' sunglasses, long hair and thick bangs..

This is just what I'd wear on a casual day. Let's say a casual Sunday.

A day on which you go to the market,  go for a coffee date,  get your nails done in a salon.

I'm a 'Lolita'.  I'm not saying that I'm a sexually precocious underage girl. I'm an adult, a big independed girl.

  But because I like heart shaped sun glasses more than anything. Because I like lolipops. 

Because I want to be young & wild at heart forever. Ever and ever. 

Wear a kitten print dress with a pair of leather Western ankle boots to add some 'raw' effect. 

Have your hair down. Wear some crazy funky heart or star shaped fancy sunnies. 

Walk like the coolest kid on earth. Don't give a damn about what anyone may thinks. 

Eat a lolipop. Don't worry about the extra calories.  Chill. You rule. 

Remember, there are things to learn from Lolita.  Put raspberries on your finger tips,  and eat them while you read your favourite magazine. Remember the scene?

       Poetry, Silver suspender leggings & Sailor Moon T-shirt

 (Mixing Harajuku fashion with Sydney street fashion)

I always loved poetry. I've always written poetry. As long as I can remember. I guess, put this way, ever since, I've learnt to write.  My first poem was about moon.

I admired the Russian and Mongolian female poets. The poetry that I read from them was very dreamy yet gloomy, but beautiful, and feminine,  if I can describe it in few words. 

The reason why I'm talking about poetry is, the photos that I'm just about to post below these few paragraphs, make me think about poetry. I did this photo shoot with the wonderful photographer from Bordeaux, France. His name is Jonathan Jato. I'm wearing, a Sailor Moon print T-shirt bought from Harajuku, silver suspender leggings from Black Milk, silver top black ankle boots purchased from Zomp shoe store, a bowler hat from Sportsgirls and grey jumper (my boyfriend's). Oh and ofcourse the pink heartshaped bag with an illustration of Alice.

I would say,  it is a very street style, fashion forward and individual look.  I wore the same outfit to a friend's birthday that night and I received lot of compliments and attention. P:
 It's very Tokyo, or even Harajuku, one might say. But I think the look is a mix of  both Sydney and Tokyo. More specifically, Harajuku and Oxford street.

I could also entitle this post, 'How to rock cool leggings?'.

If it's the question you seek, I'd answer, rock it with a cool print T-shirt and platforms or high heeled boots to sleek it up and long strapped satchel bag, a hat to add the 'effortless chic' factor.
If you are wearing it in the evening, and if it might be chilly just a throw an oversized jumper, to add a bit of the sexy 'borrowed from the boys' factor.
Well, anyway this is how I'd wear a pair of, cool 'Black Milk' leggings.


Never be afraid of experimenting! Fashion is for fun!
